The contact form

When you use the contact form, for example to list your bar, we receive what you enter:

• the topic you picked,
• your bar name and city, if you are listing a bar,
• your name and email address,
• your phone number, if you give one,
• your message,
• the page you sent it from and the time you sent it.

We use these details only to reply to you and, if you list a bar, to talk to you about adding it to FindPint. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.

Depending on how the site is set up, the form either sends your message to our form service, [Form service provider], or opens your own email app so you can send it to us yourself. In the second case your email provider also handles the message.

Location in the app

The FindPint app is not available yet. When it launches, it will ask for permission to use your location so it can show bars and pint prices near you. You can say no or turn it off at any time in your phone settings; the app then works with a place you search for instead.

Cookies

On your first visit we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. The only thing this site stores on your device is that choice: which categories you allowed, the version of the question and when you answered. It is kept in your browser's local storage under the name findpint-consent, is never sent to us and stays until you change it or clear your browser data.

No analytics or marketing cookies or trackers run on this site today, whatever you choose. If we add any, they will only load after you allow that category, and we will update this notice first.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Hosting and fonts

The site is hosted by [Hosting provider], which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages. Fonts are served from this site as well, so loading a page does not connect your browser to Google or any other font service.

Your rights
